Schulte Roth & Zabel Chief Information Officer Andrea Markstrom has authored a piece in Crain’s New York Business entitled, “Technology leaders accelerate the art of the possible.”
Andrea, who received the 2023 New York Corporate ORBIE® Award for her demonstrated excellence in technology leadership, spoke to the value of joining inclusive professional organizations that foster collaboration, writing, “Every leader’s perspective is valuable and contributes to the conversation – and everyone wins by joining a peer leadership network.”
She also highlighted the impact that these groups have on the trajectory of the industry, “Member-led, non-commercial programs build meaningful professional relationships with colleagues facing similar challenges, solving problems and avoiding pitfalls. Successful leaders understand the ‘superpower’ of trusted relationships. In any gathering of technology leaders, the answer is in the room.”
