Schulte Special Counsel Jessica Romano Profiled in Law360 as a 2023 Rising Star

Schulte Roth & Zabel special counsel Jessica Romano was featured in a Law360 article to celebrate her designation as a Rising Star of 2023.

Jessica spoke with reporter Emilie Ruscoe about the biggest deal of her career serving as payments regulatory counsel to Visa on its $940 million acquisition of Currencycloud, a foreign exchange software-as-a-service company. 

As a bank regulatory attorney, Jessica described her dynamic scope of work in “navigating the digital asset, cryptocurrency [and] virtual currency atmosphere.” 

“Working with clients engaged in those types of services, and the regulatory landscape that applies to those types of products and services, has been particularly interesting, given how the regulatory landscape is evolving as we speak,” she said.
