Advises on all aspects of the compensation and benefits area, including benefits aspects of corporate reorganizations and executive compensation matters.

Carol has advised extensively, for General Electric Pension Trust and others, on the fiduciary aspects of ERISA plan investments and, in this connection, has worked closely with senior personnel at the US Department of Labor.

She has also worked on a number of litigations relating to benefits, including litigations concerning investments by 401(k) plans in employer stock, the fiduciary obligations of an investment manager and the permissibility of modifications in retiree medical benefits plans.

She has practiced extensively, for both pension investors and sponsors of investment vehicles, on the fiduciary aspects of ERISA plan investments in a wide variety of investment arrangements.
