CLOs and LIBOR Transition

Partner and co-head of the Finance & Derivatives Group Craig Stein and partner Phillip Azzollini co-authored the “CLOs and LIBOR Transition” chapter for The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Securitisation 2020. The chapter covers the anticipated transition away from LIBOR and how that transition will affect collateralized loan obligation (“CLO”) transactions. The authors also discuss how shifting from LIBOR to the alternative reference rates will not be a simple conversion and will have important long-term implications for financial products and risk management. Former Schulte lawyer Vera Quagliato assisted in the preparation of this chapter.
