Schulte ranked top activist law firm in 2023 DMI Advisor Awards

Schulte was the top ranked Activist Law Firm for “Average Market-Cap for Activist Representations” and top two for “Total Representations” in this year’s Diligent Market Intelligence (DMI) Advisor Awards. The DMI awards highlight the most prolific law firms in the shareholder activism space.  

Recapping for DMI one of Schulte’s high-profile activism victories, Shareholder Activism chair and M&A and Securities co-chair Ele Klein explained that Politan Capital Management’s successful litigation against Masimo Corp. regarding the company’s bylaw amendments and change-of-control compensation arrangements was cheered on by many in the activist community. “[The outcome] sends a good message that the courts are not going to let companies do whatever they want,” Ele said of the engagement.
