Successfully represented Counterflo, the commercialization spin-off of the nonprofit Swedish Interactive Institute in US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas against Amazon and Walmart regarding eco-conscious power-aware charging technology. (Counterflo AB v. Amazon, Walmart)
Represented Geoscope and its portfolio of core geolocation technology for using cellular and hybrid signals to efficiently locate users using ambient signals in the environment against Apple and Google in US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the US Patent and Trademark Office and before the Federal Circuit. Represented TrackThings, a technology incubator founded by former AT&T/Bell Labs pioneer Thaddeus Gabara, in two federal patent litigations against Amazon (and its subsidiary eero) in US District Court for the Western District of Texas, and Netgear in US District Court for the District of Delaware, on mesh wi-fi, an emerging technology that improves the coverage and reach of home wi-fi systems, recently prevailing on claim construction and section 101 challenges.(TrackThings LLC v. Representing Multifold in the ongoing assertion of its seminal portfolio of foldable smartphone technology, including a successful 17-patent assertion against Samsung in US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in 2022, and pending litigation against Motorola and Google in US District Court for the District of Delaware.
