Insurance
Schulte has been advising private funds regarding their insurance needs for as long as funds have been buying management liability policies. Our Insurance Group draws on the firm’s private capital focus and broad experience advising funds on virtually every aspect of their business to help funds and investment managers negotiate policies that align with their real-world risks and coverage needs. These include SEC investigations, trade errors, investor disputes and other adverse occurrences. And when incidents occur, we leverage that experience so that claims can be resolved promptly, or if necessary, through litigation. As the risk environment changes, we work with clients to ensure that their coverage evolves as well, including advising on new products such as contingent risk and judgment preservation insurance.
