Deputy Chief Operating Officer
Donna leads the firm's lawyer-facing business departments encompassing Docketing and Court Services, Document Services, Legal Assistants and Practice Support, Practice Administrative Services, Research, and Training and Development. Additionally, she works in partnership with the firm’s Chief Operating Officer to devise and execute innovative strategies aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s business operations.
Donna also works closely with the firm's Executive Committee and Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement strategies that enhance collaboration and communication within the firm and strengthen the firm's workplace culture, ensuring an equitable roundtable and inclusive participation of all relevant stakeholders.
Having joined Schulte over 25 years ago and working as one of the few women technology training directors at an AmLaw100 law firm, Donna has spent her career leading and enhancing lawyer-facing support departments. She has been an integral part of the firm’s ongoing growth and evolution, and as the firm's support model continues to evolve, she will play a crucial role in guiding the firm into the future.
Donna is a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Affinity Groups Steering Committee.
She was recently selected as a "Notable Black Leader" by Crain's New York Business, an honor that identifies talented and accomplished Black individuals whose professional and communal achievements enhance New York City and the lives of its inhabitants. She was also identified as one of the "Black Women Life Coaches to Watch" by Huffington Post.
Donna served as the business manager for Reverend Dr. Suzan D. Johnson Cook, the US Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom during the presidency of Barack Obama.
