Schulte partner Andi Mandell quoted in Inside Philanthropy 

Schulte tax partner Andi Mandell was featured in Inside Philanthropy’s article, “Lieutenant Dan: A Close Look at Actor Gary Sinise’s Longstanding Support for Veterans,” highlighting her integral role as pro bono counsel and board member within the Gary Sinise Foundation.  

The Gary Sinise Foundation, established in 2011, supports military veterans, first responders and their families, and operates a program named R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), which builds specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans. Andi has performed the legal work on nearly every R.I.S.E. home since she first started working with Sinise in 2012 and currently serves on the board of directors for the Foundation.  

Andi was introduced to the Foundation while working with the Veterans Airlift Command and two of their veterans who were offered R.I.S.E. homes.
