Schulte Represents Voce Capital Management in Gaining Board Representation at Argo Group

Schulte represented Voce Capital Management LLC in reaching an agreement with Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. The agreement concluded a year-long bitter contest in which Voce successfully sought an overhaul of the company’s corporate governance. Argo is a global underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products, specifically in the property and casualty markets based in Bermuda. The agreement enacted changes to Argo’s board of directors, electing a new seat replacement for the board’s former CEO and director. Voce and Argo will also select two additional mutually agreed upon independent director candidates to stand for election at the company’s 2020 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
