SRZ Advises Credit Suisse on Sale of Strategic Partners to Blackstone

SRZ represented Credit Suisse on the sale of Strategic Partners to Blackstone Group LP. Strategic Partners is the dedicated secondary private equity arm of Credit Suisse Group and has raised over $11.5 billion in capital commitments since the inception of its platform in 2000. As a recognized leader in the secondary private equity business, Strategic Partners purchases private equity interests from existing investors seeking liquidity. Terms of the deal, which was announced on April 22, 2013 and closed on August 2, 2013, were not disclosed. The SRZ deal team included mergers & acquisitions associate Lawrence P. Natke; investment management partner Joseph A. Smith; tax partner Philippe Benedict; employment & employee benefits partner David M.
